Compensation:
Up to $150,000 Base Salary + 30% Bonus

A rapidly growing Top 5 multi-state cannabis operator is seeking an experienced Director of Cultivation & Post Harvest to oversee cultivation and post-harvest operations within a key East Coast market. This leadership role will be responsible for driving operational performance, production planning, quality standards, inventory alignment, and process optimization across cultivation, dry/cure, and post-harvest functions.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic and hands-on cultivation leader who thrives in fast-paced production environments and has experience scaling cannabis operations while maintaining quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day cultivation and post-harvest operations across the region
- Drive production performance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization initiatives
- Partner with facility leadership to execute cultivation schedules and production plans
- Maintain inventory levels aligned with sales forecasting and operational demand
- Implement and improve SOPs, cultivation processes, and operational systems
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations, GMP standards, and internal quality expectations
- Utilize KPIs, analytics, and operational reporting to improve performance and accountability
- Lead and mentor cultivation and post-harvest leadership teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, HR, Analytics, and Operations teams
- Support workflow optimization, process improvement, and continuous operational development
- Assist with budgeting, labor planning, and strategic operational initiatives
- Drive a positive, collaborative, and accountability-focused team culture
- 8+ years of leadership experience within manufacturing, agriculture, cultivation, or related operational environments
- 2+ years of experience within commercial cannabis cultivation preferred
- Strong understanding of cultivation operations, post-harvest workflows, and production scheduling
- Experience implementing SOPs, operational systems, and process improvements
- Familiarity with crop steering, environmental controls, and large-scale cultivation operations
- Proven leadership experience managing teams within fast-paced production environments
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience utilizing KPIs, ERP systems, inventory systems, and compliance tracking platforms
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure while balancing multiple operational priorities
