Works under the general direction of the Packaging Supervisor (or other designated supervisor) and coordinates the activities of Packaging Operator Trainees. The role is responsible for the total operation of all manual, semi‑automatic, and automatic packaging lines, including powder presses, and for quality control, material procurement, line set‑up and adjustment of product within specifications, light preventative maintenance, and communication to keep production running smoothly.

- Perform quality control, material procurement, line set‑up, and product adjustment within specifications.
- Execute light preventative maintenance and maintain a smooth flow of production in the work area.
- Train Packaging employees, observe work to ensure proper procedures, cosign pertinent records, and maintain smooth production flow.
- Assist other packaging employees and the department with GMP sanitization, quality control, safety, housekeeping, production control, and L’Oréal operating procedures.
- Award the changeover of a line, including sanitization of parts, to establish GMPs.
- Maintain movement, documentation, and supply of incoming components and bulk to the packaging lines and finished product and materials from the lines to the staging area.
- Control production and inventory, including ordering the next scheduled job, recording inventory, personnel, production, and inventory closeout transactions.
- Perform all duties of a Packaging Operator and related tasks as directed.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with production/processing areas, machinery, and product items.
- Experience with specific production/processing areas, machinery, and product items.
- Ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
- Must wear all proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds, repeated bending, lifting, and standing for long hours.
- Must be able to work off shifts, including overtime.
- High School education or GED equivalency preferred.

- Base hourly pay range: $19.81 – $27.26 (actual compensation depends on shift differential, location, experience, education, and skill level).
