Cnc Lathe Operator

Our team is currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to contribute to our production efforts. We are looking for a professional who is comfortable managing CNC lathe setups, interpreting technical blueprints, and conducting thorough quality checks. Proficiency with HAAS machinery is considered a significant advantage for this role.

• Execute diverse CNC machine configurations by calibrating tool offsets and lengths.
• Manage the daily operation and setup of HAAS CNC milling and turning centers.
• Analyze complex technical drawings and blueprints to guide production.
• Conduct initial part inspections to verify that all components align with strict quality standards.
• Process various components using stainless steel and aluminum materials.
• Modify machine settings as needed to help ensure consistent product accuracy and quality.
• Expand your technical skillset by training on additional equipment, such as Kiwa machines.
• Contribute to a secure workplace by strictly adhering to all established safety protocols.
• Keep your workstation tidy and systematic to improve overall shop efficiency.

• Completion of a high school diploma or an equivalent educational credential.
• Prior background in the setup and operation of HAAS CNC turning or milling equipment is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to machine parts from stainless steel and aluminum.
• Familiarity with Mastercam programming is considered a plus.
• Solid grasp of fundamental geometry and mathematical principles.
• Fundamental proficiency with computer systems.
• Reliable and accountable individual capable of managing tasks without constant supervision.
• A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in professional development.

Location: Paterson, NJ

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Compensation: $28.00 per hour, commensurate with your specific skills and background.
