The Boys & Girls Club of Paterson & Passaic is dedicated to inspiring and enabling young people, particularly those from disadvantaged situations, to realize their full potential as productive and responsible citizens. Serving children and teens aged 5 to 18, the organization provides a safe and nurturing environment through after-school programs and seasonal day camps. With a focus on character building, education, career development, and healthy lifestyles, the Club offers a wide range of high-quality programs led by professional staff and committed volunteers.
Membership is accessible at just $8 annually, ensuring inclusivity for all children in the community.
This full-time, on-site role is based in Paterson, NJ. As the Director of Individual Giving, you will develop and execute strategies to grow individual donor contributions. Key responsibilities include managing annual and planned giving programs, identifying and researching prospective donors, and cultivating relationships with supporters to enhance philanthropic efforts. The role also involves creating fundraising initiatives, setting financial goals, and ensuring donor stewardship to sustain and expand the Club’s positive impact in the community.
Qualifications- Experience and expertise in Planned Giving and Annual Giving programs
- Strong ability to conduct Prospect Research and build donor pipelines
- Knowledge and passion for Philanthropy and effective Fundraising strategies
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record of meeting fundraising goals and engaging individual donors
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field
- Familiarity with donor management systems and CRM tools is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and commitment to the organization’s mission
