University Correctional Health Care (UCHC), operating within Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is looking for a Part‑time Licensed Practical Nurse for the Midstate Correctional Facility in Wrightstown, NJ. The role administers total patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse in a correctional setting.

• Participate in data collection related to patients’ status and needs.
• Provide input to the Registered Nurse for incorporation into the plan of care.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice to ensure implementation of the plan of care.
• Inform and instruct patients/significant others on health/illness status and plan of care.
• Assist patients/significant others in preparation for discharge and health maintenance at home.
• Document all aspects of patient care.

Must be able to perform CPR for at least 10 minutes and lift/rotate patients up to 50 pounds.

• Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• CPR certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Own vehicle or alternative means of transportation between sites.

• At least six months of experience in an acute hospital setting.

Grade 215. Minimum salary $32,520; mid‑range $33,020; maximum $34,010 per year.
