Preakness Healthcare Center is a 406-bed nursing facility providing subacute and long-term care. We are currently seeking full-time CNA’s for all shifts, including working every other weekend on a Saturday and Sunday. Under direction of a nurse or other supervisory staff, performs the non-professional nursing duties involved in the care of residents for their activities of daily living to provide resident-centered care.

• Provide resident-centered care as a member of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain required documentation.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with residents and staff.
• Feeds or assists the patient with meals.
• Bathes and/or assists patients with bathing, dressing, and changing.
• Prepares patients for special tasks or other medical procedures as required.

Note: As per N.J.A.C. 8:39-43.2, a valid NJ Nurse’s Aide Certification issued by the NJ Department of Health

License:Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position
