Full-Time Registered Nurse – Hospice Essex County

As a Full-Time Staff Nurse Hospice serving Essex County
, you’ll assess patient needs, manage symptoms, create individualized care plans, and support families through the end-of-life journey.

Complete a two-week orientation focused on hospice care practices, EMR systems, and safety protocols.

Assess patients with advanced illnesses and create individualized hospice care plans.

Provide education, emotional support, and guidance to patients and families as they navigate the end-of-life journey.

Collaborate closely with VNA clinicians and external providers to ensure seamless, compassionate care.

Document patient status updates and adjust care plans as needs and goals evolve.

RNwith Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Certification in Hospice Palliative Care Nurse and Critical Care and Critical Careskills preferred

1+year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse

Excellent communication skills

Strong Computer skills

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions/Physical Demand
:
Working indoors/outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; car and valid NJ Driver’s license
