Our manufacturing client in Bergen County, NJ is hiring a Quality Manager to lead QA and QC teams within an automotive manufacturing plant. You’ll be the primary client liaison while driving continuous improvement, eliminating defects, and ensuring compliance with performance standards across the full product lifecycle. The position plays a key role in building a strong culture of accountability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- sAct as the main point of contact for customers on all quality-related matters, including escalation
- sLead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologie
- sManage, mentor, and train quality and cross-functional teams on standards and best practice
- sEnsure quality is embedded across the product lifecycle (APQP, PPAP, audits, warranty support
- )Drive continuous improvement using SPC, Kaizen, and Lean principles to reduce defects and improve efficienc
- ySupport customer audits and visits, ensuring readiness and complianc
- eImprove Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), including scrap, rework, and warranty reductio
- nEnsure compliance with IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standard
- ns Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, Master’s degree a pl
