Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Principal Scientist to lead our immunology and immuno‑oncology clinical biomarker projects focused on hematological malignancies. The role involves driving translational understanding, serving as the biology lead on cross‑functional teams, and guiding the mechanism of action and biomarker strategy for novel cell therapies.
- Scientific Leadership:
Design, execute, and analyze clinical studies to investigate mechanisms of action for IO targets in hematological indications (e.g., AML, DLBCL, Multiple Myeloma). - Translational Strategy:
Bridge discovery and clinical development using primary human samples and clinical datasets to validate targets and understand the immune microenvironment. - MOA Insight:
Oversee generation and interpretation of high‑dimensional molecular and cellular data. Leverage advanced single‑cell technologies (e.g., scRNA‑seq) to profile immune cell compartments for patient stratification and biomarker hypotheses. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner closely with functional teams to enhance understanding of MOA and fundamental immunology.
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Immuno‑Oncology, Cellular Biology, or a closely related discipline; experience leading data‑driven MOA studies.
- 5‑8+ years of post‑doctoral and/or industry experience in biotech or pharma with a proven track record of advancing IO programs.
- Deep understanding of immunology, particularly T‑cell biology, and hematological malignancies, including the blood and bone marrow tumor immune microenvironment.
- Proficiency in analyzing multi‑dimensional data and extracting biological insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex data into actionable decisions.
Base Pay Range: $146,410 USD – $192,164 USD (may vary by experience and location). Performance‑based bonus and/or equity is available in eligible roles.
