Job Overview
Our client is a leading supplier of recreation equipment. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative that is extremely driven to sell a product they can be excited and passionate about within their set/protected territory.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be prospecting in the field for new prospects as well as building existing relationships. Presentations are made to small and large clients (Lunch and Learns); therefore you must possess strong presentation skills and be comfortable selling a complex product with a longer sales cycle.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Min. 5+ years B2B Sales experience selling playground equipment, outdoor recreation, construction and/or building materials required
- Experience selling new business as well as relationship sales
- Playground Safety Inspector Certification (CPSI) required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience with a long sales cycle, RFPs
- Excellent presentation skills (small and large groups)
- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Solid experience with CRM, Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to travel within territory
- Base Salary (based on experience) + Draw
