The OpportunityOur client is a fast-growing international SaaS BSS company powering digital platforms, marketplaces and ecosystem orchestration for the world's leading telcos, at the intersection of cloud, AI, 5G and BSS.
They already have a live footprint within Verizon. This role owns that relationship, with a clear mandate to expand across new business units, internationally, and into adjacent East Coast accounts (Comcast etc.). This is not a cold-start territory: it's a land-and-expand role with executive visibility, full sales-cycle ownership, and a direct line to the leadership team.
What you’ll do- Own and grow Verizon, expansion across business units is the #1 priority (~80% of focus), with new logo development across other East Coast CSPs (~20%)
- Build and deepen VP/SVP and C-level relationships; be a regular, trusted on-site presence at the client’s NJ campus
- Run the full sales cycle end-to-end, from opportunity creation through complex, multi-stakeholder close
- Co-sell with hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud) and system integrator partners
- Own strategic account plans, forecasts and pipeline with board-level visibility
- 5+ years selling complex SaaS into telecom, BSS, digital marketplace or AI-related sales a strong plus
- Established senior relationships within Verizon Business /B2B organization — this is essential
- Proven record closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals start-to-signature, not just pipeline building
- Comfort in a fast-moving, roadmap-evolving environment; strong internal influence with product and engineering
- High autonomy and ownership; based in NJ/NYC metro with US work authorization
- Rare expansion mandate: existing revenue, existing relationships, huge whitespace
- Direct exposure to C-suite on both sides, client and company leadership
