Job Description

Account Executive, Advanced Hemostasis and Healing (AHH) – responsible for selling Ethicon surgical devices and solutions in the Burlington, VT territory. The role focuses on hemostasis, energy sealing, surgical stapling, and wound closure platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full range of Ethicon offerings of comprehensive surgical devices and solutions, including hemostasis, energy sealing and dissection, surgical stapling, and wound closure platforms.
  • Sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision makers primarily in an operating room setting.
  • Be assigned a sales territory focusing on physicians and hospital institutions.
  • Achieve forecast within assigned territory and accounts.
  • Set priorities and make sound business decisions based on sales opportunities.
  • Train clinicians in the operating room on product use and handle questions and objections consistently with product indications.
  • Execute the selling cycle in a professional, compliant, ethical, and persuasive manner that leads to customer action.
  • Analyze data and stay updated on market information; responsible for business planning.
  • Build customer relationships, conduct education seminars, and comply with safe behavior standards.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proper use of products to clinicians in the operating room environment.
  • Manage customer questions and objections in line with product indications and sales training methodology.
  • Execute selling process consistently, concisely, and ethically.
  • Analyze market data and set priorities based on sales opportunities.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations with key physicians, hospital personnel, and authorized distributors.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years of relevant business experience in medical sales (medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology) demonstrating exceptional achievement of sales objectives.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High growth sales performance, ability to target accounts, and ability to collaborate with peers, marketing, and strategic account managers.
  • Strong time‑management and planning skills.
  • Hospital‑based pharmaceutical or medical device experience (operating room sales) and experience selling to a highly educated, high‑profile customer base.
  • Experience in developing new, innovative markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Team‑oriented mindset.
Salary and Benefits

Base pay range: $65,000–$105,225. Eligible for an annual performance bonus and for a company car through the FLEET program. May also participate in health insurance, retirement savings plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and other benefits.
