Description
In this role, you will be an integral part of a sales team developing and managing an assigned territory. You will have the opportunity to implement clients’ marketing plan by using your professional expertise, clinical training, and judgement.
Essential Functions- Leverage audience‑specific marketing and sales materials.
- Identify and develop business relationships with targeted health‑care providers.
- Plan and prioritize activities to ensure consistent territory coverage aligned to client needs.
- Deliver educational and scientific support to inform decisions by physicians, practitioners, and nursing staff.
- Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers.
- Develop and implement plans for the territory to meet market share goals.
- Communicate effectively with peers and management.
- Demonstrate effective presentation skills.
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Present a professional sales image in all business matters.
- Manage and maintain expense and promotional budgets for the territory within guidelines.
- Operate within compliance guidelines at all times.
- Adhere to policies, processes, and procedures.
- BA/BS degree required.
- 1+ year B2B experience required.
- Experience calling on dermatologists in the designated territory geography preferred.
- Consistent track record of documented top‑tier sales accomplishments.
- Ability to identify key decision makers, develop positive relationships, and demonstrate strong customer dedication.
- Proven track record of exceeding results.
- Demonstrated sales acumen.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to travel and maintain a valid driver’s license for visits to assigned health‑care accounts.
- Residence within the assigned territory or its boundaries required.
- Local and national travel required for this position.
- Understanding of compliance and privacy laws.
- Must be able to perform all responsibilities of the position.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $68,000 to $70,000. Actual salary will vary based on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and performance. The role may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions or bonuses based on company and/or individual performance.
As a freelance, temporary, or contract employee, you may be eligible to participate in the company 401(k) match and benefits such as paid time off or benefits through provisions in the Affordable Care Act or state‑specific requirements, depending on the terms of your employment.
