WhatYou’ll Do
- Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
- Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
- Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
- Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
- Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
- Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
- Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
- Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE‑related requirements.
- Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
- Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4‑5 years of job‑related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Plumber position is $28.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Plumber position is $34.13 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
