Position: Maintenance Mechanic (packaging)

Pay Rate Low: 30.00 | Pay Rate High: 40.00

Openings on 2nd and 3rd shift, will train on 1st shift!

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment performs at optimal levels.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Maintenance mechanic experience on packaging equipment a plus!
Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, motors, pneumatic systems, and other mechanical equipment.
Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Install, set up, and maintain injection molding equipment and related systems.
Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
Follow equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings to support repairs and installations.
Service equipment through routine lubrication, greasing, and general upkeep.
Identify and address potential safety hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
Support facility maintenance projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

2+ years of industrial maintenance or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
Ability to work overtime and flexible weekend schedules as needed.
Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds.
