For over 40 years, Lowell Edwards Home Integration has designed and installed premium home technology systems throughout the NY/NJ Metro area. We specialize in luxury residential projects featuring home theaters, whole-home audio, Control4 automation, Lutron lighting and shades, networking, surveillance, access control, and intercom systems.
We're looking for a skilled, self-motivated technician who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys solving technical challenges, and wants to grow with a respected, family-owned company.
Responsibilities- Install, program, commission, and service high-end residential AV and home automation systems.
- Program and troubleshoot Control4 systems.
- Configure Lutron RadioRA 3 lighting and shading systems.
- Install home theaters, TVs, distributed audio/video, surveillance cameras, access control, and IP video intercom systems.
- Perform low-voltage wiring, equipment rack installation, cable termination, and system commissioning.
- Configure routers, switches, Wi‑Fi networks, and smart home devices.
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and architectural plans.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professional job documentation.
- Minimum 3 years of residential custom AV or home automation installation experience.
- Current Control4 Certified Technician certification (Required).
- Strong experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting Control4 systems.
- Experience with home theaters, distributed audio/video, structured cabling, and networking.
- Experience with Lutron RadioRA 3, surveillance, access control, and IP video intercom systems preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and architectural plans.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
