What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair janitorial and industrial cleaning equipment (battery, corded electric, combustion engine-powered)
• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of machines
• Read and interpret documents such as technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Train customer personnel on basic operation and daily maintenance
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory logs
• Collaborate with service coordinators and account managers to ensure timely, high-quality service
• Identify opportunities for additional services or equipment upgrades
• Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, professional work environment

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, battery systems, and small engines
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools
• Experience using electrical testing equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first mindset
• Willingness to work independently and adapt to changing schedules
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of an organization
• Physical ability to lift up to 100lbs and travel as needed

Experience:

• Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting: 3 years (Required)
• Floorcare Equipment Repair (i.g.,Tennant/Nilfisk/Karcher/etc.): 2 years (Required)
