Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active NJ Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with elementary, middle, and high school IEP processes
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students with communication needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment outcomes
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate communication strategies into daily instruction
  • Offer insights and resources to families to support student progress at home
