Job Description: Senior Oracle ETL Developer
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey;
Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)
Employment Type: 12 Months Contract
Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Oracle ETL Developer to contribute to an Enterprise Sanctions and AML screening implementation on the Net Reveal Platform. The ideal candidate will be an active participant in an agile scrum team, engaging in daily interactions with the product owner and occasional interactions with client and business partners. This role involves estimating, tailoring, and grooming user stories to ensure timely completion.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Oracle database (SQL, PL/SQL), Informatica/ETL, and Linux.
- Participate actively in a scrum team, including daily interactions with the product owner.
- Develop highly optimized Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code for large-scale data processing.
- Design, model, and optimize database schemas for scalability and performance.
- Manage and process large datasets efficiently.
- Conduct advanced query and application performance tuning in high-volume environments.
- Estimate, tailor, and groom user stories to ensure timely completion.
Experience:
- 15 years of work experience in application development.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with relational and dimensional data modeling, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Proven experience managing and processing large datasets efficiently.
- Experience in an Agile delivery environment using tools like JIRA.
Technical
Skills:
- Expertise in developing highly optimized Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code.
- Strong proficiency with Informatica (Power Center and IDMC) and Linux/Unix scripting.
- Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and core database internals.
- Proficiency with Hadoop.
- Experience integrating Data Warehouse solutions with Business Intelligence platforms like Tableau and Power BI.
- Familiarity with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with containers and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Exposure to APIs, Spring, Java, Kafka, MQ, and YAML.Experience with distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Financial Crimes, Economic Sanctions, Sanctions screening, PEP, and Negative News domains.
Pay Range: $68.26 per hour
