Group Tutor
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Group Tutor to join our team at a single, dedicated school site. In this role, you will provide vital academic support to elementary students (grades K-6) in an engaging, in-person group setting.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, skilled at managing group dynamics, and committed to helping students build confidence and academic strength in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality academic tutoring and enrichment to small groups of K-6 students.
- Implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that reinforce core subjects (reading, writing, and mathematics).
- Maintain a positive, organized, and encouraging classroom environment that keeps young learners focused and motivated.
- Monitor student progress, adapt instruction to meet group learning needs, and provide constructive feedback.
- Work closely with school-site coordinators and classroom teachers to align tutoring efforts with current school curriculum.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or a closely related field (Required).
- Current teaching credential or active enrollment in a teacher preparation program is a strong plus.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing academic tutoring, teaching, or similar instructional support (specifically working with elementary-aged youth in group environments).
- Must be available to work strictly in-person at our designated school site.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to connect naturally with children, parents, and school staff.
