In-Person Group Tutor; K-6

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Group Tutor to join our team at a single, dedicated school site. In this role, you will provide vital academic support to elementary students (grades K-6) in an engaging, in-person group setting.

• Group Instruction:
  Deliver high-quality academic tutoring and enrichment to small groups of K-6 students
• Curriculum Delivery:
  Implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that reinforce core subjects (reading, writing, and mathematics)
• Group Management:
  Maintain a positive, organized, and encouraging classroom environment that keeps young learners focused and motivated
• Progress Tracking:
  Monitor student progress, adapt instruction to meet group learning needs, and provide constructive feedback
• On-Site
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with school-site coordinators and classroom teachers to align tutoring efforts with current school curriculum

• Minimum Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a closely related field (Required)
• Preferred Education:
  
  Current teaching credential or active enrollment in a teacher preparation program is a strong plus

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing academic tutoring, teaching, or similar instructional support (specifically working with elementary-aged youth in group environments)
• Delivery Mode:
  Must be available to work strictly in-person at our designated school site
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to connect naturally with children, parents, and school staff

• Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred
• Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with the focus of the tutoring often determined by student questions and comments
