Lead Field Service Technician Lint-X Dryer Vent & Airflow Services

Lint-X is the leading professional airflow and dryer vent service company in the region. We serve high‑end residential homes, luxury condos, multi‑unit communities, and commercial properties throughout Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Fairfield Counties.

We are building a professional field operations team focused on technical expertise, safety, diagnostics, and elite customer service.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Compensation: $28 per hour during apprenticeship training. As you complete training, develop technical field experience, and demonstrate leadership and performance in the field, compensation can grow to $35+ per hour based on skill level, experience, and responsibility.

What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose airflow and dryer vent system issues
  • Perform specialized dryer vent and airflow system cleaning
  • Identify fire hazards, restrictions, and improper vent configurations
  • Perform vent rerouting, repairs, and system modifications
  • Operate professional rotary cleaning systems and technical equipment
  • Work in residential homes, condos, apartment communities, and commercial properties
  • Communicate professionally with customers and property managers
  • Document work using company software and photos
  • Lead and manage job execution in the field

Experience

Experience in any of the following is strongly desirable:

  • HVAC
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical trades
  • Construction
  • Chimney services
  • Appliance installation
  • Duct cleaning
  • Roofing
  • Service technician roles
  • Skilled trades

Basic familiarity with tools, power tools, appliance safety, and mechanical systems is highly valued.

Paid Technical Training

We provide extensive paid training through a structured combination of classroom instruction and field apprenticeship. Technicians receive training in:

  • Dryer vent and airflow diagnostics
  • Airflow system design and performance
  • Fire hazard identification
  • Rotary brush cleaning systems
  • Vacuum and air‑driven equipment
  • Vent rerouting and system modifications
  • Appliance and electrical safety
  • Customer communication and service delivery
  • Jobsite leadership and workflow management

You will work directly alongside experienced lead technicians while developing advanced field skills and technical expertise.

Schedule Expectations
  • Full‑time daytime schedule
  • Typical start time between 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
  • Occasional long days depending on project scope
  • Occasional evenings or Saturday work as needed
