As a key member of Hasbro’s U.S. Sales team supporting Target, this role is responsible for the collection, reporting, and analysis of customer retail data to drive insights and execution across the business. The Analyst will support reporting, analyze sales performance, and deliver insights to inform strategies and grow Hasbro’s business with Target.
This position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI. Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday — Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA.
A Day In The Life of a Business Planning Analyst:Reporting & Analytics
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable reporting and analytical deliverables.
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly sales performance reports, including POS scorecards, ladder plans, and price tracking dashboards.
- Support the measurement of promotions, pricing, and markdown effectiveness, recommending actions to optimize profitability and sell-through.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reporting platforms; proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Analyze and recap sales results for internal stakeholders and executive leadership, providing actionable insights and concise summaries.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, and eCommerce) to align on business performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Analyze Target POS data to identify performance drivers, emerging trends, and areas for improvement.
- Partner with Category Advisors and Account Managers to evaluate assortment productivity, inventory health, and space efficiency.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to drive share, pricing optimization, and new item performance.
- Present findings in a clear, compelling manner to inform strategy and strengthen customer partnerships.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3 years of relevant business or analytical experience.
- Proven ability to translate business challenges into analytical frameworks and turn data into actionable insights.
- Experience working with retail POS systems and data sets; familiarity with Target’s Partners Online portal and Vendor
IQ (Greenfield) preferred. - Experience automating processes and creating efficiencies in reporting, planning, and execution.
- Comfortable presenting analysis and recommendations to cross-functional and customer teams.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel (advanced functions, VBA/macros), PowerPoint, and Access.
- Working knowledge of data visualization and data modeling best practices.
- Experience integrating multiple data sources for cohesive analytics.
- Familiarity with Target’s Partners Online and Vendor
IQ reporting platforms.
