We are seeking an EMR Specialist to support behavioral health clients by building, optimizing, and customizing clinical and administrative forms across multiple EMR platforms. This role is execution‑focused and requires hands‑on super‑admin experience. This is not an entry‑level EMR role.
Role OverviewYou will be responsible for configuring and maintaining EMR forms and workflows to meet regulatory, clinical, and operational requirements. Work will be performed independently based on written specifications and client needs.
Core Responsibilities- Build, customize, and optimize forms within Sunwave, Ritten, and Kipu
- Configure intake, clinical, administrative, and compliance‑related workflows
- Translate written requirements into accurate EMR builds without supervision
- Troubleshoot form logic, permissions, and workflow issues
- Ensure builds align with behavioral health documentation standards and payer expectations
- Collaborate asynchronously with internal compliance, clinical, and operations teams
- Super‑admin level experience in Kipu, Sunwave, or Ritten, clearly reflected on your resume. Applicants without hands‑on, production experience in at least one of these systems will be automatically disqualified.
- Experience with Epic, Simple Practice, AdvancedMD, or any other EHR does not qualify for this role and will not be considered a substitute for Kipu, Sunwave, or Ritten experience.
- Proven form‑building and workflow configuration experience within Kipu, Sunwave, and/or Ritten (clinical, administrative, or billing workflows).
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions precisely, without deviation.
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated track record of documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks, and meet deadlines without ongoing supervision.
- Direct behavioral health EMR experience is required.
- Experience supporting multi‑state behavioral health providers.
- Familiarity with compliance‑driven documentation requirements (payer, regulatory, or accreditation).
- Prior work in a consulting, managed services, or implementation environment.
- $30–$35 per hour, based on experience
- Part‑time, fully remote

This role is best suited for someone who is technically strong, detail‑oriented, and comfortable owning EMR builds end‑to‑end without hand‑holding.
