Role Description

The Head of School Partnerships & Events is a full-time, on-site role based in Pawtucket, RI. This role leads the development, management, and growth of relationships with schools and educational institutions, serving as the primary point of contact for all school-related catering and event services. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and nurturing new school partnership opportunities, coordinating event logistics, overseeing menus and scheduling, and ensuring that each event meets quality, safety, and service standards.

The role collaborates closely with operations, kitchen, and service teams to plan and execute events, manages timelines, budgets, and contracts, and tracks performance metrics for school accounts. The Head of School Partnerships & Events also represents the company at meetings, school functions, and local community events to strengthen brand visibility and maintain long-term partnerships.

Qualifications
  • Experience building and managing partnerships with schools, educational institutions, or community organizations, including contract negotiation and account management.
  • Proven event planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, logistics, and on-site execution for multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
  • Organizational and project management abilities, including attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in food service, catering, hospitality, or restaurants is highly beneficial; understanding of food safety and operational standards is a plus.
  • Leadership capabilities to guide cross-functional teams, collaborate with kitchen and operations staff, and support training and best practices for event delivery.
  • Comfort working on-site at events, including flexible hours as needed for school functions, evenings, or weekends.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
