That middle stretch—permits, paperwork, payments, warranty registration, and every phone call the homeowner makes along the way—is where reputations are built or broken.

We're hiring a Project Coordinator to own that stretch. You're the voice the customer hears between their sales rep and their completed roof or siding project. If you take pride in doing things right the first time, read on.

What You'll Own
  • Customer communication from signed contract through warranty registration—texts, calls, and emails that keep homeowners in the loop before they have to ask.
  • Pipeline management for sold roofing (shingle replacements, metal roofs, commercial), siding, gutters, and Roof+Solar projects as they move from sold → permitted → scheduled → installed → closed.
  • Permits—pulling and tracking with municipalities across MA, CT, RI, NJ, and PA.
  • Invoicing & payment collection—deposits, progress draws, and final balances.
  • Warranty registration with Certain Teed, GAF, and other manufacturer portals—every job, every time, no exceptions (this is a core piece of our Global Care™ promise).
  • Milestone coordination with the customer—start dates, final walkthroughs, punch lists.
  • Post-install follow-through—warranty questions, referrals, reviews.
What You’re Not Doing

This role is not materials ordering, not crew dispatching, and not field supervision. We have people for that. You're the customer's advocate and the pipeline's conductor—not the jobsite's.

What We’re Looking For
  • Home exteriors experience is required—roofing, siding, windows, gutters, or a closely related home‑services trade. You should already know what a ridge vent is, why a permit can take three weeks in one town and three days in another, and why warranty registration isn’t optional.
  • 2+ years coordinating projects or managing customer relationships in a construction or home‑improvement environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication—homeowners remember how you made them feel when something went sideways.
  • Highly organized—you can juggle 40+ active jobs without losing the thread on any of them.
  • Comfortable in CRMs, manufacturer portals, municipal permit systems, and spreadsheets.
  • Calm, professional, solutions‑first when a customer is frustrated or a permit gets kicked back.

Qualifications
  • Strong project coordination skills, including planning, scheduling, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Experience in the construction or roofing/siding industry is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software, spreadsheets, and related tools.
  • Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills to handle fast‑paced project environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in an on‑site role and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Business, Management, or a related field is a plus.
