Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or classroom aide, preferably in elementary schools
• Ability to connect with and support individual students in academic and social settings
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers and school staff
• Empathy, patience, and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized, one-on-one assistance to a 4th-grade student, supporting their academic, social, and behavioral goals
• Help implement accommodations and modifications as directed by the classroom teacher and special education team
• Monitor progress and offer guidance to help the student remain engaged and on-task
• Assist with daily routines, classroom activities, and transitions throughout the school day
• Maintain clear, professional communication with teachers, support staff, and parents
