- Nerf/Play Doh Pawtucket, RI, United States The Nerf and Play-Doh teams are hiring a Project Engineering Co-op. You will learn how a toy or game is developed from initial concepting through the manufacturing and sampling review process. While supporting the team and leading Project Engineering work there are also opportunities to take on independent project or product design responsibility. We also offer a unique opportunity to our students to participate in Hasbro’s Co-op EPIC group project and work in teams to bring a new idea for a Hasbro product to concept stage.

This includes presenting the idea to business partners at various checkpoints in the process and prototyping the concept for presentation. We are looking for a Mechanical or Industrial Engineers for this Project Engineer Co-op to work with our product development teams on both the Nerf and Play-Doh brands. The Internship Experience Work with Development teams to ensure quality, cost and schedule adherence.

Part and mechanism creation with Solid Works may be available for candidates with knowledge of this CAD software (depending on business need) What You Will Bring (Required qualifications/skills/competencies):

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Strong time/project management skills & the desire to build/expand proficiency in this area Intermediate-level skills in MS Excel, Word & Outlook & web-based applications Previous project work or co-op experience in manufacturing, product design engineering, mechanism design, compound development

Experience with CAD software (Hasbro uses Solidworks) By the end of the program, interns leave with tangible accomplishments, a clear understanding of how their work creates value, and meaningful exposure to what a full-time, entry-level role at Hasbro could look like, positioning them well for potential future opportunities. Compensation:  Rates vary based on year in school, degree program, and office location

Internship locations vary by role and team. This role is a Hybrid role, with 3 days a week expected in Pawtucket RI. Hasbro will be moving to Boston in late 2026.
