Event Planner

• You will be working on a variety of large corporate clients organising a variety of events for their teams, that require accommodation and event space
• There will be a lot of Room Block Management
• You will coordinate and execute these events from start to finish.
• You will be working in CST Time Zone
• Manage event logistics: sourcing, negotiating, contracts, payments, and reconciliation.
• Maximize income through negotiation and cost savings.
• Collaborate with key clients in order to successfully meet their business objectives and exceed expectations
• 20% - 30% of your time will require travelling across the US and Mexico with some European Travel too

• It is essential that you have good experience in using the event management platform Cvent.
• Lots of experience of Room Block Management
• Proven event planning experience working with large corporate clients (min 2 years)
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Self‑motivated with enthusiasm for work.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Good influencing skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools and venue source software.

This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in the USA working Monday to Friday but you will be working 08.30am - 5pm PST time zone.
