Branch Flex Banker
Washington Trust is seeking a Branch Flex Banker to support our Rhode Island East Bay and Northern branches. This role engages with customers, processes transactions, and promotes our banking products.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be- Process customer transactions accurately while actively engaging with the customer.
- Understand and apply bank policies and procedures.
- Provide a superior banking experience through a relationship‑building approach.
- Proactively recommend the best products and services to fit the customer’s needs.
- Contribute to the achievement of sales objectives.
- Accurately and efficiently manage customer transactions.
- Navigate various bank systems and equipment, such as ATMs, cash counting machines, and cash recyclers.
- Enthusiasm for working with customers.
- Initiative and drive to succeed.
- Proven experience in a customer service environment; prior banking or financial services experience is a plus.
- Understanding of personal finance, including bank products and services.
- Experience handling cash and processing transactions.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate banking computer systems.
- Experience dealing with confidential customer information.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
- Ability to build trust and maintain customer relationships.
- Flexibility to adapt to ongoing business changes.

Full‑time, 40 hour/week.
Monday‑Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:15 PM (Saturday availability required; frequency depends on location)
The base salary for this role ranges from $21.50 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. This base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package that may include an incentive plan.
