Branch Flex Banker
Our branch banking employees create an environment of trust and deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. We are looking to add experienced banking professionals or candidates with related experience who can grow into this role across various branches throughout Rhode Island.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be- Process customer transactions accurately while actively engaging with the customer
- Understand and apply bank policies and procedures
- Provide a superior banking experience through a relationship‑building approach
- Proactively recommend the best products and services to fit the customer’s needs
- Contribute to the achievement of sales objectives
- Accurately and efficiently process and manage customer transactions
- Navigate various bank systems and equipment (ATMs, cash counting machines, cash recycler)
- Enthusiasm for working with customers
- Initiative and drive for success
- Proven experience in a customer service environment, prior banking, or financial services experience a plus
- Understanding of personal finance, including bank products and services
- Experience handling cash and processing transactions
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate banking computer systems
- Experience with confidential customer information
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to initiate and maintain conversations that result in customer trust and banking relationships
- Flexibility to adapt to ongoing business changes

Full time, 40 hours per week. Monday‑Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM;
Friday: 7:45 AM – 6:00 PM;
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:15 PM. Saturday availability is required, with scheduling frequency dependent on location.
Base salary: $21.50 – $25.00 per hour, dependent on experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. This role may be eligible for an incentive plan and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include health and welfare coverage, paid time‑off, a work‑life program, and a 401(k) plan.
