With equal opportunities, and excellent job benefits, we are seeking a creative Sr. Configuration Analyst with outstanding interpersonal skills to provide solutions to support our business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of their strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates.

This role will be key to understanding and detailing the capabilities needed to address business challenges through proposed solutions in the area of Supply Chain Planning.

This role is hybrid in Rhode Island/Boston, 3 days a week in the office.

• Review assigned business requirements to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and provide short-term and long-term solutions enabling the business to achieve its goals.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize deliverables with the business, and work with the software provider and/or system integrator to design, build and deploy solutions.
• Collaborate with business units to understand strategy and processes; partner with software providers and/or system integrators to provide solutions to current challenges and drive value.
• Deliver incremental enhancements and participate in projects by documenting scope, setting priorities, ensuring timely delivery of tasks and milestones, and following proper issue resolution paths.

• Analyze and synthesize business requirements, recognize patterns, and conceptualize processes.
• Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple business owners in a SaaS delivery model.
• Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes through business and systems analysis, focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensure data reliability and validity; integrate new systems and processes with existing ones; partner with internal and external customers to support long-term business strategies.
• Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by identifying needs, executing necessary processes, monitoring progress, and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.
• Stay informed of business needs and strategies; communicate updates and findings; facilitate project meetings and presentations to various audiences.
• Provide project-level analysis including required documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, future state proposals, UAT plan, etc.).
• Collaborate with software provider developers to implement requirements and mentor testers during QA processes.

We expect our candidate to bring over 3-5 years of experience in the following:

• Excellent business communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Expertise in business requirements gathering, and leading design and process workflow sessions.
• Good technical writing skills to document functional and technical artifacts.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, web applications, and cloud hosting or SaaS-based solution implementation.
• Solid understanding of demand management, inventory planning, replenishment planning and distribution components of the supply chain process.
