Cisco Senior Engineer

Position Summary

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring in Woonsocket, RI for a Cisco Senior Engineer to design and implement computer information and data communications networks.

• Architect, design, and support complex voice and contact center solutions incorporating technologies such as Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise, Avaya Aura Contact Center Enterprise, Oracle SBCs, and Five9 Contact Center as a Service.
• Engineer multi‑vendor solutions that are fault‑resilient, integrating across multiple platforms.
• Perform network planning and analysis to determine capacity needs for network infrastructure and other improvements, including voice technologies, PBX, and voice messaging automation.
• Research and recommend specific network requirements such as software, platforms, and hardware.
• Develop and write procedures for use and troubleshooting of communications software.
• Stay current with technology trends to manage product portfolio in support of business needs.
• Collaborate and drive partnerships across enterprise technology functions to maximize alignment, efficiency, cost optimization, and delivery.
• Telecommuting is available.

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems/Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Four (4) years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience in this field or a related occupation.
• Four (4) years of experience in each of the following:
  • Software development lifecycle;
  • Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting;
  • Avaya and Cisco technologies;
  • Designing, implementing, and operating a Cisco Enterprise Contact Center;
  • Cisco components:
    Unified Customer Voice Portal, Contact Center Enterprise, Communications Manager, Finesse, Intelligence Center, Intelligent Contact Management, Border Element (CUBE);
  • Call routing and flows, IVR, CMS, recording, and overall contact center functionality;
  • Integration with Five9 or other public‑cloud contact center systems;
  • Cloud‑based telephony services;
  • Agile methodologies and product management tools.
• Related occupations such as Network and Computer Systems Administrators, Computer Network Architects, Computer Network Support Specialists, and/or Senior Programmer Analyst are acceptable.

Pay Range: $/year to $/year. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Position is eligible for CVS Health bonus, commission, short‑term incentive program, and equity award program.
