Your ImpactWe are seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This fast‑paced position requires a self‑directed, highly motivated individual who is willing to travel and seeks growth in the Telecom industry.
LocationRegional position. Candidates must reside within 60 miles of the Pawtucket, Rhode Island area.
Core Responsibilities- Maintain cooling systems, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
- Complete daily work reports accurately and on time.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Compliance with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA standards.
- Availability for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs as needed.
- Extensive daily travel and occasional overnight stays; company covers travel costs and provides per diem.
- Drive to remote work sites; exposure to ambient temperatures.
- Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Pass a Department of Transportation physical.
Hourly rate: $24.00 – $43.00, DOE. Actual compensation is influenced by skill set, experience, and location.
