HVAC​/R Pipefitter Journeyman

Cool Sys is seeking an HVAC/R Pipefitter Journeyman to install, assemble, and service refrigeration and mechanical piping systems for commercial and industrial projects. In this field-based role, you'll read blueprints, lay out and fabricate piping, perform brazing, soldering, and pressure testing, and support system start-ups. Working within our safety-first, team-driven culture, you'll collaborate with technicians and project leaders to deliver reliable, energy-efficient HVAC-R solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and repair HVAC/R piping systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to lay out piping routes
• Braise, solder, thread, and weld piping materials to HVAC/R equipment and components
• Perform pressure testing, leak detection, and system commissioning
• Collaborate with technicians, electricians, and project managers to complete installs on schedule
• Follow all Cool
• Sys and OSHA safety policies and use proper PPE at all times
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in HVAC/R and refrigeration piping systems
• Document work performed and communicate job status to supervisors and customers
