Program Support Secretary - PART TIME

The Office Clerk provides routine clerical support to assist with the day-to-day operation of the office. Primary responsibilities include answering and directing telephone calls, scheduling appointments, filing documents, assisting with the transfer of student records, and accessing student information as needed to complete assigned tasks.
This is an entry-level position with routine duties performed according to established procedures and under the direction of the administrative staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct callers to the appropriate staff member.
- Take and relay telephone messages.
- Schedule appointments as directed.
- File and organize documents.
- Copy, scan, and prepare documents as needed.
- Request student records from other schools using established procedures.
- Prepare and send student records to other schools as directed.
- Receive and file incoming student records.
- Prepare envelopes, mail, and other routine correspondence for distribution.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and school information.
- Provide basic assistance to students, parents, staff, and visitors.
- Complete other routine clerical tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic experience with email, word processing, and electronic records is helpful.
- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously in person and by telephone.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Ability to organize and file documents accurately.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Dependable and able to complete routine assigned tasks.
The successful employee should be able to:

The position involves typical office activities, including sitting, standing, using a computer and telephone, filing documents, and occasionally lifting or carrying routine office materials.
Terms of Employment- Salary in accordance with the Payette School District classified salary schedule

- Required district training
