Line Cook

Overview of Position

As a Line Cook, you'll prepare, cook, and present delicious food to order, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards for quality and timeliness.

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items by following our established brand guidelines and recipes.
• Adhere to proper prepping procedures and store perishable items correctly, ensuring freshness.
• Maintain food at safe temperatures in compliance with Denny's Brand Standards and all relevant regulations.
• Accommodate special requests and orders from customers.
• Organize and keep work spaces, coolers, and storage areas in optimal condition.
• Assist with inventory management and product deliveries as needed.
• Complete designated prep work efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized cooking area.
• Support Service Assistants as required during busy periods.
• Follow all safe food handling practices diligently.

• Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately, safely, and in a timely manner according to company standards.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable and flexible with schedule.
• Collaboration skills; works well in a team environment.
• Physical ability to navigate your work area effectively.
• Strong attention to detail for food preparation and presentation standards.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and portioning.
• Compliance with all food handling regulations pertaining to health and safety.
• Preferred:
  At least 2 years of kitchen experience or a combination of experience and culinary education.
