Substation Journeyman (Payson Distribution Automation)

The Payson Distribution Automation group has an immediate opening for a Substation Journeyman. The work hours for this position are Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM (AZTime).

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Completed a Registered Electrician Apprenticeship Program OR an equivalent training program (as approved by APS T&D Technical & Safety Training)
• One (1) year experience as an Electrician
• Commercial Driver's License (Class "A") with ability to meet all DOT requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Considerable experience performing journeyman-level high voltage substation duties with an electric utility or other entity operating and maintaining high voltage substation equipment preferred
• Experienced in writing and executing switching orders, and basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
