Pay range: $21.40 - $38.78

The Town of Payson offers a generous benefits package including participation in the Arizona State Retirement System, 188 hours of paid time off per year (sick and vacation) with accruals increasing with years of service and nine paid holidays and an additional 40 hours of floating holiday hours.

The Streets Division is dedicated to providing the citizens of Payson with the maximum levels of service by constructing and maintaining a safe and efficient roadway system while exercising fiscal responsibility. The Streets Division is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the Town’s approximately 106 miles of roadway. This includes roadside right of way and drainage maintenance, sidewalk and curbs maintenance in designated areas, street lighting, snow removal, street sweeping, pothole repair and street striping.

The Highway User Revenue Fund (HURF) passes down from the State of Arizona to fund the Streets Division. The Town’s General Fund provides additional funding to supplement the major capital projects related to the streets. This division also provides information regarding signs, sidewalks, culverts and repairs.
