Design Specialist

Premium Surface Solutions is hiring a motivated and experienced Design Specialist to join our team in Payson, Utah.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in sales and estimating, preferably with experience in landscaping, concrete, concrete coatings, and surfacing projects.

The Design Specialist will meet with residential and commercial customers throughout Utah, evaluate project needs, discuss design and material options, take measurements, prepare accurate estimates, and help customers move forward with their projects.

This is a commission-based position with strong earning potential for someone who is professional, self-motivated, experienced in sales, and confident in closing projects.

• Meet with customers for scheduled estimates
• Inspect project areas and take accurate measurements
• Discuss project goals, materials, colors, designs, and available options
• Prepare and present accurate estimates and proposals
• Follow up with leads and open estimates
• Answer customer questions and guide them through the sales process
• Maintain accurate notes and customer information in the company CRM
• Coordinate with the office, project managers, and production teams
• Help customers understand project scope, pricing, and timelines
• Meet sales, follow-up, and performance goals

• Experience in landscaping or hardscaping
• Experience with concrete installation, removal, or replacement
• Knowledge of concrete coatings and decorative concrete
• Experience with patios, driveways, walkways, pool decks, retaining walls, turf, or outdoor living projects
• Experience with court construction or surfacing is a plus
• Construction industry experience is strongly preferred

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confident speaking with homeowners and business owners
• Able to take measurements and understand project plans and scopes of work
• Professional, dependable, organized, and punctual
• Strong follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Able to manage multiple leads and appointments
• Comfortable using a smartphone, email, CRM, and estimating software
• Willing to travel to customer locations throughout Utah

This is a commission-based position with excellent earning potential.

Commission structure and additional compensation details will be discussed during the interview.
