This role offers a competitive wage of $16.49–$20.90/hour and the chance to support individuals in an assisted care setting, guide their daily routines, and help create a safe, empowering environment where clients can grow and thrive. Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM. With opportunity to pick up weekday/weekend shifts as needed/desired.
Compensation: $16.49–$20.90 DOE

What You'll Do as a Housing Attendant- Provide supervision, coaching, and daily-living support to residents
- Teach and reinforce facility guidelines, social skills, and healthy routines
- Help with activities like cooking, cleaning, hygiene, and shopping
- Assist with behavioral treatment plans and support positive behavior change
- Complete nightly checks, encourage chore completion, and manage crisis situations
- Transport clients to appointments while ensuring safety and support
- Monitor client responses to medications and follow nursing instructions
- Participate in staff meetings, document reviews, and shift-change communication
- Help maintain accurate records and meet compliance and audit standards
- One (1) year of college coursework AND Current enrollment in social work, psychology, or a related bachelor's program
- One (1) year of related experience OR Current enrollment in social work, psychology, or a related bachelor's program
- A combination of education and experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situations
- Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standard
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase

Employment and Hiring StandardsEmployment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
