Payment Poster; MST

Overview

Payment Poster responsible for daily medical insurance and patient payments, posting and reconciliation to ensure accurate accounts receivable reporting and post insurance payments by line item, personal pays, zero pays and make adjustments accordingly. Will obtain, analyze and review all patient information, diagnoses and procedures for billing and payment posting for several companies to ensure maximum accuracy and timely reimbursement. May be responsible for filing and/or collections depending on experience.

Process daily medical insurance and patient payments; post to accounts receivable; reconcile payments to ensure accurate reporting. Post insurance payments by line item, personal pays and zero pays; perform necessary adjustments. Obtain, analyze, and review patient information, diagnoses, and procedures for billing and payment posting across multiple companies to ensure accuracy and timely reimbursement. May be responsible for filing and/or collections depending on experience.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of insurance payment posting in a medical organization.
