EMT; Part-Time

Payson City is seeking motivated and qualified EMT's to work part-time. The shifts are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Under the supervision of the Fire Chief, this position performs emergency medical care. These part-time EMT's will respond to emergency calls within the Payson City response area.

• Perform basic and advanced emergency medical care and provides other patient care assistance as required.
• Operate ground ambulances safely to deliver proper patient care and transportation.
• Participate in training, attend classes in emergency medical care and related subjects.
• Maintain emergency medical equipment, vehicles and facilities.
• Perform general maintenance work in the upkeep of facilities and equipment.

• Must be (21) twenty-one years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and write the English Language, must have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Must possess EMT-B Certification.

$18.00 per hour with EMT-B Certification

$19.00 per hour with EMT-Advanced Certification
