This role leads the AWS Operations Team responsible for multiple AWS accounts, VPC creation/configuration, IAM management, account security, and infrastructure‑as‑code deployment of VPCs, NAT gateways, and WAF.
Financial Responsibilities- Ensure cloud assets are logged and accounted for.
- Identify and eliminate zombie infrastructure.
- Create expense reports on time.
- Adhere to departmental budgets.
- Lead a team of Cloud Ops and Dev Ops engineers and analysts to design, develop, automate, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve public cloud platform enablement.
- Define and enforce cloud platform best practices, standards and processes.
- Partner with product leaders to deliver requirements and stakeholder input.
- Provide management updates, status reporting and dashboards demonstrating platform health and security maturity.
- Work with cloud hosting vendors to push boundaries on configuration.
- Enable and support product engineering teams hosting products and services in the cloud.
- Maintain public cloud enablement product and services uptime.
- Align with engineering peers and tech leads during strategy, planning and delivery.
- Mentor the Tech Ops platform team.
- Partner with security, compliance and identity & access management to identify and fill cloud platform gaps.
- Apply strong analysis and problem‑solving skills across various systems and situations.
- Always follow the company Code of Ethics and in Contact policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers inside and outside of NICE CXone.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of technical experience (software engineering, systems or network engineering, etc.).
- 5+ years of AWS cloud operations management experience.
- Fast‑paced, adaptable and self‑motivated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to set short and long‑term objectives for self and assigned team.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Domains, Active Directory and DNS.
- High computer literacy and fluency with Microsoft Office and in Contact applications.
