Position: System Support Representative (SSR)

Position Summary

Summit Technologies is looking for a Mission Planning System Support Representative (SSR) to support USAF mission planning activities. The SSR is responsible for ensuring the base/unit computers and associated equipment, software, and map data are updated and functioning appropriately. The SSR will support activities such as daily exercises, training missions, deployments, and real-world contingencies.

Responsibilities

A successful candidate demonstrates an ability to maintain an IT environment inside of the Mission Planning organization, and enjoys the challenge of troubleshooting problems (software, hardware, systems) including managing communications, documentation, and testing until a resolution is determined. SSRs also play a key role in optimizing mission planning data, as well as communicating effectively with coworkers and varying management levels within the supported unit.

Minimum Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements

· Must be a US Citizen.

· Must have an active TS/SCI clearance

· Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of relevant IT work experience.

· Security + certification within 6 months from date of hire to reach a minimum of DoD
8570 Level IAT Level II
