We’re expanding a modern services portfolio and seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Director to lead a new, high-growth Services organization. Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, you will drive execution, build, and scale a multi-million dollar services P&L, and operationalize a portfolio of managed services that accelerates customer value and expands Bamboo
HR’s leadership in the SMB market.

HR Services helps customers achieve results from go-live to day-to-day excellence by combining repeatable packages with ongoing guidance and enablement. We are expanding across five service lines—HR Services, Payroll Services, Technology Services, Benefits Administration, and Talent Acquisition—and seek a senior leader to shape how these services fit our customers and business.
- Drive Services P&L execution: lead annual/quarterly planning, forecasting, pricing & packaging, and support investment cases.
- Execute the growth strategy: lead multi-year growth for core service lines aligned with Bamboo
HR product roadmap. - Manage the service catalog: evolve packages, rate cards, SLAs, scoping guides; partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Develop the leadership team: build a world-class team of managers and individual contributors for scaling implementation, advisory, and managed services.
- Compress time-to-value: standardize and scale implementation playbooks to shorten Time-to-First-Value and Time-to-Go-Live.
- Incubate and scale managed services: rapidly incubate, commercialize, and scale a suite of services with optimal pricing and packaging.
- Be a key liaison: establish senior sponsorship with strategic customers and serve as escalation point for complex deliveries.
- Drive customer self-sufficiency: expand admin/manager education and change-management programs.
- Run a metrics-driven business: own the operational rhythm, capacity modeling, staffing mix, backlog health, delivery quality, and DSO with Finance.
- Install repeatable mechanisms: create knowledge base, runbooks, dashboards, and VOC loops; foster continuous improvement.
- Guard scope & risk: maintain crisp SOW standards, intake processes, and clear delivery handoffs across service lines.
- Align with G&A: collaborate on unit economics, forecasting, and gross margin; work with Legal on compliance; with Security on data privacy.
- Close the product loop: link services insights to product roadmap and self-service content.
- Partner with Sales: co-own the services attach strategy; provide packaging, scoping guides, and pricing discipline; review and support strategic deals.
- Provide succinct, data-rich updates to executive leadership on performance, risks, and investment trade-offs.
- Publish quarterly business reviews covering revenue, GM, attach, TTV, CSAT/NPS, retention/renewal, and roadmap feedback.
- Paid Services Leadership:
Senior leadership experience in paid services at an HR outsourcing (HRO) company with P&L responsibility, packaging, utilization, and revenue targets. - Deep HR Domain Leadership: 8+ years in HR operations, HRIS, payroll, benefits, or shared services; strong change-management skills.
- Commercial & Operating Acumen:
Pricing/packaging, utilization & capacity models, forecasting, and unit economics; familiarity with SOWs and governance. - Execution at Altitude:
Ability to craft a compelling narrative and implement dashboards, cadences, and playbooks that drive repeatable results. - Cross-functional Influence:
Trusted partner to Sales, Success, Product, Support, Finance, and Legal. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s (MBA or HR-related) preferred. - Certifications (preferred): SHRM-SCP/SPHR, CPP, CEBS, PMP.
