Ink Technician
Full-Time | Manufacturing
Get the color right. Keep production running.
We're looking for an Ink Technician to mix and manage inks for flexographic presses. This role combines color accuracy, technical skill, and production support.
What You'll Do
- Mix inks to exact specifications for production
- Create and adjust color formulations
- Support press setups and troubleshoot color issues
- Use tools (spectrophotometer) to verify color accuracy
- Track, label, and manage ink inventory
- Handle ink waste safely and properly
- Maintain equipment and work areas
- Support team training and continuous improvement
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with ink mixing or color matching preferred
- Understanding of color theory is a plus
- Comfortable with computers and measurement tools
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Prepare inks ahead of production schedules
- Minimize downtime due to ink issues
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Reliable attendance and teamwork
