Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly
Customer Centric Focus:
Under the supervision and direction of the Director, to successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
- Proofread and Edit artwork and other materials
- Compare and check paperwork
- Inspect plate files for printing issues
- Communicate with Designers about art edits and fixes
- Knowledge of Insite, Kodak Prinergy
- Track jobs to keep plates on schedule
- Work under high-pressure to meet fast deadlines
- Maintain good working relationships with production, Sales and Customer Service
- Must be able to work with others and follow instructions
- Understand and recognize traps, stepping out, repeats and prepress issues
- Understand the production process
- Protect company’s value by maintaining confidentiality of information
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Regular attendance is required
Skills and Qualifications :
- Must be able to work with others and follow instructions
- Must be willing to learn new skills
- Must organize and track assigned jobs
- Must be detail-oriented and proactive
- Willing to understand the production process
- Willing to work under high-pressure to meet fast deadlines
- Basic computer knowledge
- Thorough understanding of spelling and grammar
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday during the hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- Must be capable and willing to work more than a normal workweek with notice, as outlined in the
- Personnel Handbook, as work level demands dictate.
- Must be able to distinguish and ensure accuracy of work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be able to use the Company’s software efficiently and effectively.
