Position Overview

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Entry Level. Full-Time/Part-Time.

• Provide kind and compassionate care to residents.
• Respond to residents’ call lights and assess their needs.
• Turn and reposition residents while in bed.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking or exercising.
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure appropriate diet.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.

• Active Utah CNA certificate.
• Clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to engage positively with residents and their families.
• Team orientation, energetic, professional, and reliable.

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit (when applicable).
• No disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• Preferable to have at least one year of experience as a CNA in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Assisted Living Facility (ALF). Not required.
