Overview
Western Veterinary Partners is hiring across multiple veterinary hospitals in the greater Salt Lake City area for Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) and Veterinary Assistants, including leadership and Regional Relief opportunities. Compensation and Benefits- Veterinary Technician: $22 - $31 per hour
- Veterinary Assistant: $15 - $20 per hour
- Within the range, pay is determined by position, location, skills, experience, and education
- Sign-on bonus: up to $2,000 (where offered)
- CE allowance: $500 - $1,000 annually for CVTs (based on tenure)

What We’re Looking ForQualifications may vary by opportunity. Key requirements commonly include:
- Active Utah CVT credentials or eligibility for licensure
- Recent CVT graduates preparing for the VTNE are encouraged to apply
- Prior clinical experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical assistance
- Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Laboratory diagnostics
- Digital radiography
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Exam room support and client education
